This vacancy is for our client, French Colloboration Company based in Abu DhabiMissions:•Manage
effectively the Human resources and Administration activities (including but not limited to:
recruitment, training, student administration, contract management, people care, discipline policy
and general services) in accordance to company and company UAE practices•Assist and represent the
company Academy Management while promoting the Academy to external parties (ADNOC affiliates, IAT
schools, ADVETI-VEDC, local and non local government organizations and all other
parties)•Establish lasting relations with company Academy partners, governmental and other local
organizations•Recruit and retain apprentices and staff through best practices while abiding to
budget guidelines established by the Academy ManagementJob Description:Human Resources:•Organize
and coordinate all recruitment activities involving company Academy apprentices•Arrange and
participate in all external and internal recruitment and promotional events (including, but not
limited to: IAT career Exploration Days, Schools open days, VEDC student Selection days)•Assist
the Academy Management in the selection process of all Academy staff•Contribute to the
Emiratization of the Academy staffTraining:•Ensure that all planned trainings, including safety
trainings, for staff and trainees are organized and done in due time•Search and select training
providers when deemed necessaryPeople Care:•Contribute to the welfare and good “training
atmosphere” inside the Academy and also outside ( in accommodations, offshore sites or at
home)•Ensure good relations and communication between all members of the Academy•Contribute to
the welfare of the Academy members through the development of adapted rules and
procedures•Organize special events such as outside visits for the trainees and social and personal
development activities•Visit the apprentices when offshore to assess their progress , listen to
them follow-up and propose and improvement plan when necessary•Audit the integration process of
the ex-apprentices once assigned in their companies, propose appropriate suggestions for improvement
and alert their respective management in case of specific issue•Bring specific files and attend to
company Majli’s meeting when requiredAdministration/General Services:•Ensure that all Academy
P&P’s are updated, known and applied by all Academy members•Prepare all apprentices employment
contracts and related amendments•Manage the apprentice attendance system, prepare reporting and
take appropriate disciplinary actions as well as written documents when required•As member of the
disciplinary committee, prepare and present all the dossiers as well as ensure the implementation of
the decisions taken•In liaise with HCD, ensure that all attendance records and other elements are
taken into account of the apprentice pay sheet•Supervision of all general services activities to
be organized with VEDC and related to apprentices accommodations and academy facilitiesCommunication
& Marketing•Contribute through direct contacts and good relations with local governmental and
private organizations as well as development of a good corporate image and tools to the development
of the good image of the Academy in the community as well as among our partners and professional
networks•Develop and update the Academy website. Organize the webste redaction committee with
involvement of trainees, staff and external parties•Organize special events like family day, open
days for all external partners, academy graduates•Manage the stock of the gifts and communication
items•Develop new brochures and liaise with external parties for all communication issues in
coordination with company communication sectionsPublic Relations:•Liaison with all governmental
offices regarding specific issues related to Academy and or apprentices•Establishment of closed
relations with some industrial partners (Fitech, Westco) for specialized trainings and consolidation
through MoU•Organization of outside visits as well as social events for the benefit of the
students•Participation to coordination meetings with ADVETI/VEDC on regular basis. Coordination
with VEDC about all sport activities•Post Graduate or BA/B. Sc or equivalent in HR or related to
student counseling, Education, or social affairs•Prior and significant experience (10 years) in HR
area•Arabic Language is a must plus Arabic culture and Islamic values•Good command of
