•Perform a central role in proactively sourcing the firm’s investments •Participate in the
analysis, negotiation, due diligence, presentation and closing of new & follow-on investment
opportunities•Capable of financial modeling and excellent command of Excel/VBA with knowledge of
quantitative methods, applied financial mathematics, statistics/probability theory, forecasting,
regression analysis, interest rate and asset return simulation techniques, etc.•Due diligence:
Analyze business models and trends; engage with industry consultants; make a case for investment to
the firm’s investment committee•Prepare for review by Vice President, Deal Origination Reports
“DORs” and Investment Recommendation Report “IRPs” •Monitor financial and operational
conditions of assigned portfolio companies and follow the related industry dynamics•Work with the
management and board of portfolio companies to execute growth and operational improvement strategies
in order to maximize value of investments•Develop thorough understanding of each investment's
capital structure and shareholder rights. Utilize understanding of this in the analysis of the
portfolio•Quarterly value investments for financial and accounting purposes and look at impact on
operating plan•As needed report key operating events to senior leadership team•Key member of
small deal teams: Unmatched direct involvement with senior team members to source, analyze,
structure, diligence and monitor the firm’s investments •Financial modeling; Valuation;
Structuring; Due diligence•Minimum of 4 years’ experience in investment banking, management
consulting, private equity or operating company experience•MBA or CFA is highly
desirable•Candidates should have graduated in the top of their class from a well-regarded
undergraduate program•Proven ability to manage a team of 2+ analysts•Familiarity with primary
valuation concepts and theories including DCF valuation methodologies, IRR analysis, comparable,
liquidation analysis, etc•Strong aptitude for understanding of the financial market, business,
legal and accounting issues involved in evaluating and investing in private equity •Strong people
skills in judging capabilities of management of potential portfolio companies and negotiating
partnership documents•Ability and willingness to undertake extensive (50%+) domestic and
international travel•Professional English language; Arabic Language is a must4 - 6 yearsPG -
