Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE which is under the management of Global Medical Solutions LLC. Currently

they looking for candidates who are currently employed as Chief Medical Officers/Medical Directors

preferably in a 200+ bed hospital, has experience in JCIA implementation, is familiar with the

hospitalist type of system, and Western. Should be working as Consultant.Candidates currently

employed as CMO in a hospital setting would be given more preference than ones in a healthcare

group.The Chief Medical Officer is an experienced Consultant Physician with a strong clinical and

administrative track record.As the most senior clinician in the organization and member of the

corporate team, the patholder helps lead the development and implementation of the organization's

clinical strategy, ensuring the delivery of evidence based, cost- effective patient centre care in

line with the organization's objective and goals.Key Responsibilities and Activities of the

RoleManagerial / Administration.1) Leads the organization's clinical staff and serves as a role

model for professional excellence.2) Advises the corporate team to help shape and agree the

strategic and operational plans for the organization.3) Advises on the organization and structure of

medical services4) Reviews department and division reports and makes recommendations for improving

clinical services.5) Leads in the development, review and implementation of the hospital's

performance management system, including the peer review and productivity and utilization review

process.6) Leads in the development, approval, authorization and implementation of agreed clinical

policies and procedures.7) Participates with the corporate team in budget planning and other

financial management responsibilities as required.8) Assumes responsibility for establishing a clear

system of communication with the medical workforce throughout the organization.9) Attends relevant

corporate meetings and meets regularly with the Department Heads.10) Leads on medical workforce

planning for the organization and more.Quality and Safety1) Helps develop and support quality

improvement initiatives and ensures that these are adopted by across the organization2) Promotes the

establishment of clinical data collection system thorughout the organization. Holds clinical

Directors accountable for managing and reporting data from thier respective departments.3) supports

the Chief Medical officer in encouraging culture of regular audit and holding department chairs and

division chiefs accountable to demonstrate improving practice on the basis of audit results.4)
