A prestigious bank is looking for a Compliance Officer to join their growing team in Kuwait. The

ideal candidate has to assist with the research and development of compliance policies and

procedures in response to the new instructions from CB or CMA and related

laws.Responsibilities:•Deal with day-to-day compliance approvals and queries. •Assessing risk

across the business areas and product lines. •Maintain the archive of CB and CMA regulations and

related laws.•Check and review major policies and procedure to identify any non-compliance with CB

regulations. •Liaise with CB inspectors and the various bank’s divisions, discuss findings and

follow up corrections. •Analyze and interpret local regulations to advice the different

areas/divisions of the bank and its subsidiaries. •Conduct compliance tests in areas where

necessary to detect violations and report results to top management.•University degree in BA.

•At least 2 to 3 years of banking experience in Compliance or Audit or at a regulatory body in the

GCC. •Good command of English with ability to compile reports and data both in Arabic and English.

•Very good communications and high analytical skills and attention to details. •Good

understanding of MS Office and AML software.•Overall understanding of major banking activities.
