Credit and Debit Cards Manager

Project Planning & ExecutionØ Drive the implementation plans for the credit and debit cards

including detailing and implementing the following (working with other stakeholders as

appropriate):· Product definition and development· Creation of pricing strategy·

IT requirements and testing· Input to branding and marketing plans·

Specific issues related to Islamic proposition· Development of loyalty programme·

Regulatory approvals· Liaison and co-ordination with third party vendors / partners (e.g.

card processing, card schemes)Ø Contribute together with other key stakeholders to the

development of the following as they relate to Products:· Related operational processes and

procedures including Straight Through Processing· Critical outsourcing and vendor

agreements including SLAs· Training plans and materialsØ Working (as required) with HR

and other retail business managers to develop and implement:· Incentive programmes which

ensure alignment of behaviors and business results· Training plans for productsLeadershipØ

Management of products function to ensure execution of agreed initiatives and delivery of targeted

resultsProduct managementØ Responsible for end-to-end product life cycle including development

and monitoring of all key SLAs with internal and external service providersØ Manage the product

line and ensure the continuous monitoring of the market place and appropriate development of

innovative products / offers which address real customer needsØ Building of relationships in the

card industry & attendance at relevant seminars and conferences to ensure the Company maintains its

profile as an innovative and relevant playerØ Responsible for ensuring portfolio growth targets

and profitability of all card productsØ Work closely with sales and marketing team to generate

initiatives and events which generate additional net revenueØ Monitor, evaluate and act upon

information from the financial reports and key performance indicatorsØ Responsible for day-to-day

control of budget management and portfolio performance issues of products (including risk management

of portfolios)Ø Input into creation of annual plans and budgets according to agreed timelines Ø

Regular reporting to Senior Management on established performance measuresRegulatory & ComplianceØ

Ensure products are compliant with all regulatory and operational risk control requirementsØ

Responsible for all product related issues relating to Shariah and regulatory approvalsØ Ensure

internal compliance as per best practices.· Over 5 years related experience in managing a

credit and debit card product line in a large financial institution· Deep industry

knowledge and broad understanding of the Middle East region, preferably including specific

experience of the KSA market· Experience in implementation of the latest cards

innovations· Participation in high-level performance management teams of various

professional and cultural backgrounds· Candidate must be client service oriented,

enthusiastic and positive· Demonstrated ability for excellent problem solving in an

ever-changing work environment; Adaptable to changes· Proven ability to work effectively

with a team of department managers to determine and balance departmental priorities·

Ability to contribute to a high standard to a multi-function team ensuing alignment at all times to

the organizational goals· Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken·

Ability to Influence, empathic skills, people oriented personality and strong work ethic·

Fluent in English (both verbal and written)– Arabic is an advantage.5 - 8 yearsBasic - Any

Graduation , PG - MBA/PG Diploma in Business Mgmt
