The ER Physician serves as a Specialist in Emergency Medicine. Examines, diagnoses and treats

patients with potential or actual emergency conditions. Acts as a consultant in the area of

emergency medicine and is responsible for education of medical and para-professional staff in

emergency medicine. Serves as Chief Triage Officer in the disaster setting as required. To provide

primary care to the host of patients entering hospitals ERs with illnesses and injuries covering a

broad spectrum from acute infections to life threatening conditions.8 - 10 yearsBasic - MBBS (
