•Implementing standardization and best practise, across all business units in line with the
direction from the GFM•Designing and implementing a structured and consolidated asset inventory
portfolio, including:1.Financing - on balance sheet or off balance sheet funding2.Vehicle
maintenance tracking3.Driver management4.Fuel management5.Legal compliance6.HSE (Advisory Capacity
only)•To remove or minimize the risks associated with vehicle investment, improving efficiency,
productivity and reducing the company’s overall transportation and staff costs, providing 100%
compliance with legislation (duty of care) and many more. These functions are continually bench
marked and to manage and crystallize continuous improvements both operationally, and financially and
are delivered from an in-house fleet-management team. •Ensures end of month returns for all Fleet
Management vehicles and equipments are received and on time.•Formulates data for each month in
the agreed format ready for the end of month reviews•Monitors the procurement of New Vehicles and
Equipment through CPD and updates the Group Fleet Management accordingly•Records all data in
respect of Repairs and disposals and relays information to the relevant Assets Management•Confirms
all Fuel Data returns are correct and in line with expectations raising any observations to the GFM
•Plans and develops a Database for the inventory, Control and accountability of all Vehicles and
Equipments within the Fleet Management areas of responsibility•Manages Data systems on Inventory,
Accountability and control for all Vehicles and Equipments •Carries out regular progress checks on
vehicles and equipments under servicing and repair•Participates and supports the Group Vehicle
Manager on meetings taking minutes and recording accurately the agreements and future
appointments•Maintains the Vehicle & Equipment Fleet asset register•Assists the GFM in
Monitoring and servicing all Lease Contracts ensuring all conform to the Group policies and are
renewed as and when required•Assist in the production of all reports as required by the GFM and in
line with the Group policies •Assist in the development and implementation of targets and new
initiatives in line with group policies and priorities •Any other duties as may be directed by the
line manager.•Must have a good working knowledge of Data Base systems•Demonstrated ability to
liaise and maintain relationships with Clients, Suppliers and be a good team member•Ability to
communicate concisely both orally and in written format•Practical and applied knowledge of but not
limited to: Fleet Management (Desirable)•Problem solving and analytical skills, coupled with
demonstrated ability to work to tight and conflicting deadlines•Well developed computing skills
and proficient in using Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Power Point, Project, Outlook and
the ability to set up Databases for the running of the Vehicle & Equipment organization•Excellent
organization and communication skills (English language) including oral, written and interpersonal
skills and experience working in a diverse multicultural environment•To be flexible and accept the
ability for change direction1 - 6 yearsBasic - Any Graduation
