Care (PHC) is an organization that has been established to manage the primary healthcare centres

across Qatar. PHC was previously managed by Hamad Medical Corporation however due to the increase in

the number of residents the government saw the need to establish a separate entity to handle the PHC

centres to improve its operations and provide better healthcare service. PHC is a major government

project under the National Development Strategy 2011-2016 (NDS) program of the government. This high
