The FTTH Implementation Manager is the authorised representative of the Consultant for all

activities in the Network Implementation section, and is overall responsible that all Project tasks

assigned to the Consultant are executed according to agreed plans and specifications. Key tasks of

the Implementation Project Director are: Establish a comprehensive Project Implementation Management

function to manage, monitor and follow-up on the network implementation projects. In cooperation

with CLIENT management and other Project Directors, establish processes to ensure full, end-to-end

coordination between all involved parties from Planning through Design and Implementation to

Integration, Commissioning and Operations of all Network projects. Organise and follow-up that all

project tasks are effectuated in an orderly, timely and cost-efficient manner. Set objectives and

priorities for the execution of work in line with the project scope and CLIENT’s requirements.

Ensure appropriate KPIs are established to measure the performance of work of the implementation

section. Ensure that clear and explicit work processes and procedures are established and understood

by all assigned parties, and set up systems and methodologies to monitor the execution and

performance of work of all staff. Identify inefficient and costly practices, and recommend

corrective actions. Prepare and recommend improvements enhancing the performance and effectiveness

of the Network Implementation section. Oversee preparation of regular and ad hoc project reports,

and ensure these are complete and fully cover all key project issues, including recommendations for

improvements and changes, as necessary. Follow-up on the consultant services, control quality and

quantity of work performed, guide the team and carry the overall responsibility for the task
