MEDICAL DIRECTOR / CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER

Directs, coordinates, and administers the Medical Services, Nursing and other related activities of

the hospital/Clinic. Oversees and evaluates the planning and execution of medical services, to

include development of policies and practices designed to ensure quality of service and compliance

with health care laws and regulations. Directs and supervises all medical staff, to include

practitioners and medical support staff, and provides direct medical services to clients, as

appropriate to daily clinical requirements.1.Plans, coordinates, and oversees administration of all

day-to-day physician services and associated medical operations for the clinic; schedules,

coordinates, and oversees the activities of practitioners, ensuring adequate clinical coverage at

all times. 2.Provides direct advice to the CEO regarding issues related to the implementation and

evaluation of strategic medical services and policies, and regarding medical personnel concerns.

3.Oversees the supervision of all medical, technical, and administrative support staff, ensuring

compliance with human resources policies. Participates in the recruitment, training, and evaluation

of medical staff. 4.Develops and oversees implementation of medical practice guidelines and

standards, ensuring that all Federal policies, regulations, and guidelines for patient care are

met.5.Establishes and coordinates JCI, Quality improvement, Safety, and Infection control programs.

Conducts and documents regular quality assurance inspections of clinical operations6.Reviews and

evaluates clinical protocol and procedures, and affects revisions as appropriate, for all medical

and specialty care clinic operations. 7.Participates in development, implementation and maintenance

of policies, objectives, short-and long-range planning.8.Develops and implements projects and

programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals. 9.Monitors OSHA mandates, and monitors

credentials/performance of medical staff.10.Oversees and coordinates the resolution of patient

grievances and and other patient issues, as they arise. 11.Provides direct medical and patient care

services within specified area of licensure, as needed to accommodate day-to-day workload

requirements of the center. 12.Develops annual operating budgets and provides fiscal direction to

the department. 13.Oversees a variety of ancilliary clinical services, to include such activities as

pharmacy, patient therapy, central supply, diagnostics procedures, medical records management, and

other administrative support services. 14.Performs job-related duties as assigned by the CEO.MBBCh,

MDMBA / PG in Hospital ManagementMinimum 15 to 20 years experience with atleast 3 years as Medical

DirectorKnowledge of JCI, OSHAAbility to manage and lead a team of doctorsAdministrative

capability10 - 15 yearsBasic - MBBS ( Medicine ) , PG - Doctor of Medicine (MD) , MBA/PG

Diploma in Business Mgmt
