Job DescriptionFormulate buying strategy including product development with focus on potential
profit opportunities for the company • Develop a comprehensive merchandising portfolio that
addresses the needs of the market including but not limited to distribution, seasonality, gender,
and price point • Align merchandising strategies with Brand marketing campaigns and initiatives by
engaging key business leaders to support plans and contribute to intended results • Identify holes
in the market, conceive and create solutions pertaining to the presentation of products and
processes and project how potential ideas will play out • Brief margin appropriate products and/or
special programs based on specific market needs that incorporate customer insights, consumer trends,
competitive activities, market intelligence and the logistics’ distribution strategy •
Collaborate with operation manager to identify and position key brand models as well as key channel
models and identify strategies that achieve financial targets based on changing market conditions
• Plan, forecast and review channel collections regularly to assure appropriate product
positioning, acceptable margins and segmentation needs are met • Conduct ongoing market research
focusing on consumer trends, competitive programs and customer developments • Attend customer
meetings as needed to support Sales or obtain customer feedback • constant track of in-house
inventory and sales levels • Create price list, mark down prices, design and allocate stock
transfers, promotion • Building strong, positive relationships with Brand Principals • Market
Research on the profitable stock products • Ensure current product is in the current location •
Maximize sales and profitability through effective stock management, data analysis, store profiling
and cost management of logistics. • To reduce markdown activity through effective stock management
processes. • Provide detailed inventory status report and key information to the concern
department • Provide accurate stock flow forecasts and store replenishment schedule • Provide
option plan by size ration and best-selling sizesSkills• Must be able to balance strategic
thinking and tactical decision making • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of all merchandise
processes • Mentors and shares knowledge with others • Recognizes and acts on ways to improve
processes and procedures • Controls inventory to minimize shrink • Knowledgeable about Logistics
management and processes. • 3 years Merchandising experience retail middle east experience •
Advanced level in Excel is essential along with other Microsoft applications and business
communication • able to travel for business trips3 - 10 yearsBasic - Any Graduation
