Security Manager Job Profile and Description The role of a Security Manager of a Visa Service Center
(VSC) or facility is a combination of Security Administrator, Consultant & Security Advisor. He must
be an experienced leader and team player with strong communication and collaboration skills and the
ability to effectively manage people and demanding client in multiple VSC Locations across
geographical and organizational boundaries. Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead a team of security
Officers/supervisors to ensure overall security environment at the VSC’s in conjunction with the
VFS Corporate Security Program.Maintains close liaison with the Security Vendors and Clients.
Develop, Manage, and maintain security related processes, procedures, training, and improvement
plansReview and recommend appropriate new technologies in order to best deliver on compliance
measures agreed with the client Conduct Risk Assessments to ensure Red flags are highlighted to all
stake holdersOversee all projects to ensure they are delivered in accordance with established
deadlines and within budgetEnsure all Security Officers are held accountable for successful job
performanceGuides the Security Officers in Investigation of all the incidents committed at the
VSC’s and investigates critical frauds.Organizes periodic training cadres to all security
personnel and Management as directed by the Regional Security Manager. Skills and
SpecificationsShould have in-depth knowledge of Security Environment and security hazards in the
areaExpert Project Management skills Ability to lead a team in analytical planning, critical review
& problem solvingAbility to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse
culturesStrong cross functional collaboration and relationship management skills including directing
and coordinating virtual teams to achieve deliverables.Required ability to handle multiple tasks
concurrentlyShould preferably be a former member of Military Services, Police Force or Federal
AgencyStrong Computer Skills with proficiencies in MS OfficeUnderstanding of various Security
Standards & Regulations (International & Local)Required to handle sensitive and confidential
information and must demonstrate the ability to maintain utmost confidentiality and privacy.
Education & QualificationsBachelors DegreeAt least 8+ years of experience as a Security
ManagerCertifications in Security Management preferred8 - 15 yearsBasic - Any Graduation
