Description:Assist to Project Engineer for Project Engineering & Construction Dossier

involving:•Equipment, Specification, data sheets•Detail Engineering construction drawings using

AUTOCAD/other application•Material take off using SAP/other application•Documentation•DCS

functional and technical specifications (including interaction with ESD and Fire and Gas System),

instrument data list sheets and control room layouts, electrical design, SLDs, data sheets, layout

drawings and hazardous area drawings etcActivities Required:•Receive basic concept and brief scope

of the project from the Project Engineer•Perform site surveys to collect data for preparing

details Engineering•Prepare detailed construction drawings•Preparation of Bulk material

requisitions for Procurement•Inspection of Physical dimensions for onshore fabrication at

contractor works•Maintaining master drawings/equipments database etc•Develops all technical

aspects for new/revamped projects for inclusion in preparations of technicalScope of work:•Site

survey to establish status of existing facilities and new installations•Carries out data gathering

and operations review to establish scope of design and prepared the basic engineering

documents•Prepares mark ups of existing (PFD’s), (UFD’s), (UID’s) etc•Prepared layout

drawings including major piping routings for new equipments•Prepared piping material take off

requirements in accordance with Company specification and prepare designs of projects Autocad

formats•Prepares structure and piping design calculations•Parametric and lifetime sensitivity

studies to identify impacts of key process variable on equipment present and future

requirements/duties and hence define the scope for equipment reductions•Prepared weight estimated.

Revised of existing oil & gas production and facilities to identify equipment and control elements

no longer required for present and future operations. The ultimate objective of the work is to

improve the safety rating of the platform and to reduce the maintenance requirements•Defines

facilities no longer required, for example equipment, cables, trays, tubes etc taking into

consideration and ensuring the safe satisfactory and reliable operations of the proposed modified

facilities•Prepared pre-project documents •Attends Factory Acceptance tests, Follow-up with

Mussaffah base, follow-up with construction•Assist testing and commissioningAccountabilities:To

ensure all site modifications, Project modifications to “AS BUILT” status and update master

drawingsHSE Responsibilities: HSE Responsibilities for employees•Comply with the Activities

notify forthwith the responsible supervisorDiploma in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 10 years

design and drafting experience in various engineeringGood Knowledge of EnglishGood knowledge

of CAD drafting (mainly 2D on Autocad R 2007)Work Location: Onshore (Abu Dhabi main Office) with

visits offshore and to the onshore logistics base at Mussafah10 - 20 yearsBasic - Diploma (

Mechanical )
