Principal tasks and responsibilitiesOverall planning and coordination of offshore execution works

with Client various functional groups. Produce, maintain and update execution activities in

Project Master Schedule as well as Client's Activity Planning. Ensure the project activities are

fully integrated in the overall asset and maintenance plan as per commitment to Client.Liaise with

the various Assets planners and attends all planning and coordination meetings held by the various

Client functional groups in order to coordinate execution of activities as required.Advise the

Project Management Team of any deviation to the execution plan, provide support in the

identification of area of delays and help at the preparation of a recovery plan to maintain the

schedules.Update and prepare progress update on execution activities planned to all parties involved

in the projects.Additional Task, Responsibilities or Capabilities.Have the experience and ability to

manage a team of planners and schedulers.• Have a comprehensive knowledge of multi- discipline

interfaces, interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and

non-technical staff in a multi cultural environment.• Have excellent verbal and written

communication skills, effective with people of all levels within the company environment.• Have

the ability to organise complex projects, defining project priorities, resolving challenging issues,

and delegating tasks.• Work in compliance with all SHELL standards and policies.Job

RequirementsExperience/ Competence/ Qualifications.The incumbent shall hold a B.Sc. or equivalent in

an Engineering Discipline and have a min. of 10 years in minor and/or major projects in the oil and

gas industry and a minimum of 5 years practical experience relevant to planning.He/She shall have

comprehensive knowledge of :-- Planning techniques such as Critical Path Analysis, preparation of

“Gantt” Charts and resource planning.- Engineering planning/cost software, eg. Primavera P6 and

Microsoft Project.- Maintenance works (Shutdowns) and/or offshore execution works.- Overall

management of computer aided planning, scheduling and monitoring programme and ensuring compiance

with company processes.10 - 20 yearsBasic - Bachelor of Science , Bachelor of

Technology/Engineering
