Purpose & ScopeManage 4 stores of Fast Service Centre by Supervising, directing & controlling

activities for effective Stock Control and Stores Administration as per standard stores management

requirements.Responsibilities:• Direct designing of scientific coding system for inventory items

based on family tree of items.•Supervise the creation and maintenance proper library of catalogue

in system for spare parts and assemblies of existing and new vehicle models introduced and/or to be

introduced. •Direct the designing of the stores layout, physical storing system and defining the

location of bin/items as per storing standards duly considering health and safety measures.•Direct

the setting of proper ROL and EOQ parameters for the catalogued items. •Regularly review the

parameters set for ROL & EOQ based on the actual consumption and other factors affecting demand &

supply. •Ensure availability of spares & consumables in stores while ensuring minimum holding and

carrying costs.•Establish standard procedures for stores activities like requisitioning,

receiving, issuing and returning of inventory.•Manage the stores activities to ensure that they

are carried out as per set standards.•Design stock reports to be produced by the controller,

validate and analyze those reports and take suitable actions as per the set procedures. •Monitor

periodic stock taking and take preventive and corrective actions upon discrepancies

noticed.•Manage manpower in charge of various stores activities.•Guide the staff in coordinating

with the IT department with regard to stores software system problems and on establishing password

and security policies for stores systems.•Design suitable MIS reports to the management, ensure

that they are prepared and produced regularly as per the design and advice management on areas

needing their attention/action.10 - 20 yearsBasic - Any Graduation
